HB-Tx Wireless 2-channel RF TRANSMIT Module
The HB-Tx RF Wireless Transmit module is included with the HNB‐C unit pro-
viding multiple (x2) independent RF wireless channels operating simultane-
ously and in unison with the HB-RU receivers. It includes on-board high power
antennas for total room coverage with an unlimited number of users per room
(per system) without interference, noise, or drop outs. HB-Tx includes secure
IrDA 'pairing' up to 1m/3' with visual LED indicators (Red/Blue) and activation
in under ten (10) seconds. A simple front slide switch allows use for
simultaneous 2nd language TRANSLATION. Additionally, HB-Tx supports an
UNLIMITED number of HB-RU receivers per HNB-C.
Module Features:
• (2) RF Transmit Channels broadcasting the HB-Rx signals to
‘unlimited’ number of users with HB-RU receive units supporting ADA ‘assisted
listening’ and ‘hard-of-hearing’ users.
• Supports live ad-hoc 2nd language translation activated by front panel slide
switch.
• RF Signal coverage with 40 foot radius / 80 foot diameter in X-Y-Z three dimen-
sional axis – eliminates DEAD SPOTS.
• HNB-C RF system design is impervious to LIGHT or room architecture “line-of-
sight” issues.
• Secure IrDA (Infrared Data Association) pairing for (2) channels in under (10)
seconds to unlimited number of HB-RU receivers.
• Front panel visible status LED’s for Power and Pairing
(Blue/Red) with On/Off push button activation.
• Power 5V nominal via HNB-A common 24VDC/2.5A power supply.

he HB‐Rx RF Wireless Receiver module is included in all versions of
HNB‐C providing multiple (x2) independent RF wireless channels operating
simultaneously. HB‐Rx always plugs into the LEFT slot of the HNB-C chassis.

t includes robust high power diversity antennas with secure channel separa-
tion and filtering algorithms insuring total room coverage for simultaneous
operation without interference, noise, or drop outs. HB-Rx includes IrDA
'pairing' up to 1m/3' with visual LED indicators (Red/Blue) and activation in
under ten (10) seconds. Compatible with all HNB
TM
teacher microphone head-
sets (Series TM) and hand-held student microphones (Series SM). No cali-
bration or adjustments required to activate HNB-C linked microphones
