NOTES:
HNB-C microphones are
factory 'paired' and should
connect when power is
pressed ON showing a
STEADY blue LED
condition.
ALL SM1 hand-held
microphones can be 'paired'
to ANY HNB-C unit in under
ten (10) seconds.
Only (1) SM1 microphone can
be operational per each
HNB-C unit.
HNB-C microphones should
be fully charged to insure
proper operation.

Step 1: Press the power (PWR) button on the
HB-Rx receiver module for Channel 2.
P
ower ON = Blue LED flashing.
NOTE: Only the SM1 microphone can
operate on Channel 2.
Step 2: Press the ON/ OFF SLIDE SWITCH of
the SM1 student microphone to ON.
ON = Blue LED flashing or Blue LED
steady.
Tip: if the LED's on both units (HB-Rx and
transmitter) continue flashing then proceed to
Step 3 'Pairing'. If the LED's are solid (ON, but
not flashing) then the units linked themselves
and are ready to broadcast. Go to Step 5
'Volume' in section 7.4.
Step 3: With the SM1 ON/OFF SLIDE SWITCH
in the ON (up) position, depress the pair-
ing switch inside the hole at the bottom of
the slide switch for 2-3 seconds until the
LED begins flashing blue/red. While the
LED is flashing, place the SM1 micro-
phone within 1 meter / 3 feet of the HB-
Rx module IR lens which is also set in
the pairing mode. In less than 4-6 sec-
onds, both units will start a FAST FLASH
mode ending in a SOLID STEADY Blue
on both LEDs. The units are successfully
'Paired' and broadcasting can begin.
Paired = Blue LED solid.
Go to Step 5 'Volume' in section 7.4
Note: a paper clip or similar 'pin' type device can
be used to depress the IR pairing switch.
